Telephone and Skype consultations are scheduled seven days a week. Day and evening appointments are available.
Before a consultation can be scheduled your cat must be seen by your veterinarian to rule out any possible underlying medical cause for the behavior. No appointments with Pam can be made unless your cat has already received medical clearance from the veterinarian.
When a telephone or Skype consultation is scheduled a behavior history form will be emailed to you. This must be filled out and emailed back to our office at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. We also request that you include any video as well as any still photography. In addition to pictures of the cat(s), include pictures or video of the cat’s litter box(es), feeding station(s), areas where he/she tends to spend the most time, areas where trouble occurs, or video of actual behavior concerns. This is vital information that will greatly help in evaluating the problem.
The fee for a one-hour telephone or Skype consultation with Pam Johnson-Bennett is $225. A telephone or Skype consultation includes one month of email follow-up support.
Once the appointment is made you will be directed back to this page to prepay for your consultation by PayPal. All consultations must be prepaid.
Cat Behavior Associates does not issue refunds for missed appointments. If you must reschedule your consultation please provide 24 hours notice.
Pam Johnson-Bennett does not provide a medical diagnosis and will not dispense medical advice. Our office also can’t guarantee results because much of the success of a behavior modification plan depends on owner compliance, the cat’s background, the cat’s current environment, the severity of the problem and how long it has been going on.
