Petco has issued a recall on some of its stainless steel dog food bowls because one of the company’s foreign manufacturers (Petco doesn’t state country of manufacture) mistakenly used small quantities of Cobalt-60 which is a radioactive material.

If you purchased these bowls at Petco between May 31-June 30 of this year, return them to Petco or call their customer service number at 877-738-6742 for more information.

The SKU numbers included in the recall can be found at the bottom and inside of the food bowls. The SKUs included are:

SKU 1047493 PETC-3.75C DEEP TWO TONE NOTIP 9.25” diameter; 3.75 cup capacity

SKU 1386956 PETC-3.5C NO-TIP SS HAMMRD BWL 9” diameter; 3.5 cup capacity

SKU 1047477 PETC-7C TWO TONE NONTIP BOWL 9” diameter; 7 cup capacity
